وَفِي اَلْبُخَارِيِّ : عَنْ عَائِشَةَ - رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا- أَنَّ ذَلِكَ فِعْلُ اَلْيَهُودِ 1
1 - صحيح موقوفا . رواه البخاري (3458) من طريق مسروق ، عن عائشة - رضي الله عنها- كانت تكره أن يجعل المصلي يده في خاصرته ، وتقول : إن اليهود تفعله .
And in the narration of al-Bukhari narrated by 'Aishah (RA) is:
"This is a practice of the Jews."
Reported by Al-Bukhari (No. 3458). Cited in Bulugh al-Maram (No. 239).
It was reported that ‘Ā'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) used to hate that one keeps his hands on his flanks (while praying). She said that the Jew used to do so.
