وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ اَلْخُدْرِيِّ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- { أَنَّ رَجُلاً قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ ! إِنَّ لِي جَارِيَةً , وَأَنَا أَعْزِلُ عَنْهَا , وَأَنَا أَكْرَهُ أَنْ تَحْمِلَ , وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ مَا يُرِيدُ اَلرِّجَالُ , وَإِنَّ اَلْيَهُودَ تُحَدِّثُ: أَنَّ اَلْعَزْلَ المَوْؤُدَةُ اَلصُّغْرَى .‏ قَالَ : " كَذَبَتْ يَهُودُ , لَوْ أَرَادَ اَللَّهُ أَنْ يَخْلُقَهُ مَا اِسْتَطَعْتَ أَنْ تَصْرِفَهُ } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ , وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ , وَالنَّسَائِيُّ , وَاَلطَّحَاوِيُّ , وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ 1‏ .‏

Abu Sa‘īd al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a man said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have a slave-girl, and I do coitus interruptus with her, fearing that she might conceive. I just want what men want. Meanwhile, the Jews say that coitus interruptus is minor infanticide." He said: "The Jews told a lie. If Allah intends to create it, you cannot prevent it."

Explanation

This Hadīth refutes the Jewish claim that pregnancy is impossible with coitus interruptus in the sense that it is like the termination of procreation through infanticide. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) asserts that this a lie. He says that pregnancy, despite coitus interruptus, is possible. In this case, if Allah wants to create, He will, and vice versa. So coitus interruptus is not really infanticide. Therefore, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) allowed the Companion to do it and refuted the claim of the Jews.

في هذا الحديث إبطال لما زعمته اليهود من أنَّ العزل لا يُتصور معه الحمل أصلاً، وجعلوه بمنزلة قطع النسل بالوأد، فأكذبهم النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ، وأخبر أنَّه لا يُمنع الحمل إذا شاء الله خلقه، وإذا لم يُرد خلقه، لم تكن وأدًا حقيقة، ولهذا أجاز لهذا الصحابي العزل عن جاريته وَرَدَّ دعوى اليهود.

  • جواز العزل.
  • أنَّ إرادة الله -تعالى- الكونية نافذة، فلا يردُّها عملٌ وقايةً منها ولا حذر.
  • الكناية عن الشيء الذي يستحيا منه إذا لم تدع الحاجة إلى التصريح.
  • يجوز للإنسان أن يكره ما يكون عليه فيه ضرر مالي.
  • اعتبار أقوال من عنده علم وإن كان كافراً.

He said that when God’s Messenger was asked about withdrawing the penis he replied, “The child does not come from all the liquid, and when God intends to create anything nothing can prevent Him.” Muslim transmitted it.
