Narrator:Anas ibn Mālik

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ

صَلَّيْتُ أَنَا وَيَتِيمٌ، فِي بَيْتِنَا خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأُمِّي أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ خَلْفَنَا‏.‏

Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: An orphan and I prayed behind the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) in our house, and my mother Umm Sulaym was standing behind us.

Explanation

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) relates in this Hadīth that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) led him and an orphan in prayer, and the two of them were standing behind him. He also informs that his mother, called Umm Sulaym, offered the prayer behind them. So, the rows were as follows:

The Imām stood at the front.

The boys, Anas and the orphan, stood behind the Imām.

The woman, Umm Sulaym, stood behind them all.

Explanation in Arabic

يخبر أنس رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم صلَّى بأنس واليَتِيم، وكان موقفهما رضي الله عنهما خَلف النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ، ويخبر أنس أيضا أن أُمَّه التي تُكَنَّى بأُمِّ سليم رضي الله عنها صلَّت خَلفهم. فكان الصفوف كالتالي:

موقف الإمام : متقدما.

موقف الصبيان : خلف النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم .

موقف المرأة : خلفهم.

  • تواضع النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم-، وكَرَم خُلقه، ولُطْفِه مع الكبير والصغير.
  • جواز الصلاة لأجل تعليم الجاهل، أو لغير ذلك من المقاصد المفيدة.
  • جواز الصلاة جماعة في النَّافلة، لكن بشرط ألا تكون بصفة دائمة.
  • أن موقف الاثنين فأكثر خلف الإمام.
  • صحة مصافة الصَّبي الذي لم يبلغ الحُلُم؛ لأن اليتيم لا يكون إلاَّ صبيًّا.
  • جواز صلاة المرأة مع جماعة الرجال.
  • تقديم الرِّجال على النساء.
  • أن المرأة لا تصف مع الرَّجال، ولو كانوا من محارمها.
  • حرص الشارع على ابتعاد المرأة عن الاختلاط بالرِّجال حيث أذن لها أن تصلي منفردة خلف الصف ولا تكون مع الرجال.
