حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ صَبَّاحٍ، سَمِعَ رَوْحًا، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَزَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ

تَسَحَّرَا، فَلَمَّا فَرَغَا مِنْ سَحُورِهِمَا قَامَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ فَصَلَّى‏.‏

Narrated Qatada:

Anas bin Malik said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) and Zaid bin Thabit took the 'Suhur' together and after finishing the meal, the Prophet (ﷺ) stood up and prayed (Fajr prayer)." I asked Anas, "How long was the interval between finishing their 'Suhur' and starting the prayer?" He replied, "The interval between the two was just sufficient to recite fifty 'Ayat." (Verses of the Qur'an).

قَوْلُهُ : ( قَامَ نَبِيُّ اللَّه صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الصَّلَاة فَصَلَّيَا ) كَذَا لِلْكُشْمِيهَنِيِّ بِصِيغَةِ التَّثْنِيَة , وَلِغَيْرِهِ فَصَلَّيْنَا بِصِيغَةِ الْجَمْعِ وَسَيَأْتِي الْكَلَامُ عَلَى بَقِيَّة فَوَائِد هَذَا الْحَدِيث فِي كِتَاب الصِّيَام إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّه تَعَالَى. وَاسْتَدَلَّ الْمُصَنِّفُ بِهِ عَلَى أَنَّ أَوَّلَ وَقْت الصُّبْح طُلُوع الْفَجْر لِأَنَّهُ الْوَقْت الَّذِي يَحْرُمُ فِيهِ الطَّعَام وَالشَّرَاب , وَالْمُدَّة الَّتِي بَيْن الْفَرَاغ مِنْ السُّحُور وَالدُّخُول فِي الصَّلَاة - وَهِيَ قِرَاءَة الْخَمْسِينَ آيَةً أَوْ نَحْوهَا - قَدْرِ ثُلُثِ خُمُسِ سَاعَةٍ , وَلَعَلَّهَا مِقْدَارُ مَا يَتَوَضَّأُ. فَأَشْعَرَ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ أَوَّل وَقْت الصُّبْح…

We took Suhur (predawn meal) with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and then we stood up for (Fajr) Salat (prayer). It was asked: "How long was the gap between the two?" He replied: "The time required for the recitation of fifty Ayat." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

وعن زيد بن ثابت رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ تسحرنا مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ثم قمنا إلى الصلاة قيل كم كان بينهما‏؟‏ قال‏:‏ خمسون آية ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏

تَسَحَّرْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ هُوَ النَّهَارُ إِلاَّ أَنَّ الشَّمْسَ لَمْ تَطْلُعْ ‏.[ قالَ ابُو إسحاق: حديث حُذَيْفَةَ مَنْسوخٌ لَيْسَ بشَيْء.]‏
