Narrator:Anas ibn Mālik

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ

كُنَّا نُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ ثُمَّ يَذْهَبُ الذَّاهِبُ مِنَّا إِلَى قُبَاءٍ، فَيَأْتِيهِمْ وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ‏.‏

Narrated Anas bin Malik:

We used to pray the `Asr and after that if one of US went to Quba' he would arrive there while the sun was still high.

Explanation in Arabic

كان النبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ شَديدَ الحِرصِ في أمْرِ الصَّلاةِ، ومِن ذلك أنه كان حَريصًا على تَعليمِ أصحابِه أوَّلَ وَقتِ كُلِّ صَلاةٍ مِنَ الصَّلواتِ الخَمسِ، وآخِرَه.وفي هذا الحَديثِ يَذكُرُ الصَّحابيُّ الجَليلُ أنَسُ بنُ مالِكٍ رَضيَ اللهُ عنه أنَّ النبيَّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ كانَ يُصَلِّي العَصرَ والشَّمسُ مُرتَفِعةٌ حَيَّةٌ، والمقصودُ صَفاءُ لَونِها قَبلَ أنْ تَصفَرَّ أو تَتغيَّرَ، وأوَّلُ وَقتِ العَصرِ -كما جاء في الرِّواياتِ- إذا كانتِ الشَّمسُ في السَّماءِ، وكان طُولُ الظِّلِّ ضِعفَ الحَجمِ الطَّبيعيِّ.فإذا ذَهبَ الذَّاهبُ إلى «العَوالي» بَعدَ الانتِهاءِ مِن صَلاةِ العَصرِ مع النبيِّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ، فيَأتيهم والشَّمسُ مُرتَفِعةٌ، وهذا الارتِفاعُ أدْنى مِنَ الارتِفاعِ السَّابِقِ، والعَوالي: هي القُرى والبُيوتُ المُجتَمِعةُ حَولَ المَدينةِ مِن جِهةِ نَجْدٍ، وبَعضُها تَبعُدُ أربَعةَ أميالٍ، أو نَحوَ ذلِك -أيْ: سِتَّةَ كيلومِتراتٍ تَقريبًا- عَنِ المَدينةِ، وهَذا يَدُلُّ على التَّبكيرِ بصَلاةِ العَصرِ فَورَ دُخولِ وَقتِها.

قَوْلُهُ فِي الطَّرِيقِ الْأُخْرَى ( كُنَّا نُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ ) أَيْ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَمَا يَظْهَرُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ الطُّرُقِ الْأُخْرَى , وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ كَذَلِكَ مُصَرَّحًا بِهِ أَخْرَجَهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ فِي غَرَائِبِهِ. قَوْلُهُ ( ثُمَّ يَذْهَبُ الذَّاهِبُ مِنَّا إِلَى قُبَاءَ ) كَأَنَّ أَنَسًا أَرَادَ بِالذَّاهِبِ نَفْسَهُ كَمَا تُشْعِرُ بِذَلِكَ رِوَايَةُ أَبِي الْأَبْيَضِ الْمُتَقَدِّمَةِ. قَالَ اِبْنُ عَبْدِ الْبَرِّ : لَمْ يُخْتَلَفْ عَلَى مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ " إِلَى قُبَاءَ " وَلَمْ يُتَابِعْهُ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الزُّهْرِيِّ بَلْ كُلُّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ " إِلَى الْعَوَالِي " وَهُوَ الصَّوَابُ…
