Narrator:Sunayn Abu Jamīla

حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سُنَيْنٍ أَبِي جَمِيلَةَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا وَنَحْنُ، مَعَ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَ وَزَعَمَ أَبُو جَمِيلَةَ أَنَّهُ

أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَخَرَجَ مَعَهُ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ‏.‏

Narrated Az-Zuhri:

While we were in the company of the Ibn Al-Musaiyab, Sunain Abi Jamila informed us (a Hadith), Abu Jamila said that he lived during the lifetime of the Prophet (ﷺ) and that he had accompanied him ( to Mecca) during the year of the Conquest (of Mecca).

Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani — Fath al-Bari

قَوْله : ( عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سُنَيْن أَبِي جَمِيلَة قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا وَنَحْنُ مَعَ اِبْن الْمُسَيِّب ) وَالْجُمْلَة الْحَالِيَّة أَرَادَ الزُّهْرِيُّ بِهَا تَقْوِيَة رِوَايَته عَنْهُ بِأَنَّهَا كَانَتْ بِحَضْرَةِ سَعِيد. قَوْله : ( عَنْ سُنَيْن ) بِمُهْمَلَةٍ وَنُون مُصَغَّر , وَقِيلَ بِتَشْدِيدِ التَّحْتَانِيَّة وَبِالنُّونِ الْأُولَى فَقَطْ , تَقَدَّمَ ذِكْره فِي الشَّهَادَات بِمَا يُغْنِي عَنْ إِعَادَته. قَوْله : ( وَخَرَجَ مَعَهُ عَام الْفَتْح ) ذَكَرَ أَبُو عُمَر أَنَّهُ حَجّ مَعَهُ حَجَّة الْوَدَاع , تَقَدَّمَ ذِكْره فِي الشَّهَادَات.…
