Narrator:Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ

كُنَّا نُصِيبُ فِي مَغَازِينَا الْعَسَلَ وَالْعِنَبَ فَنَأْكُلُهُ وَلاَ نَرْفَعُهُ‏.‏

Narrated Ibn `Umar:

In our holy battles, we used to get honey and grapes, as war booty which we would eat and would not store.

حَدِيث اِبْن عُمَر " كُنَّا نُصِيب فِي مَغَازِينَا الْعَسَل وَالْعِنَب فَنَأْكُلهُ وَلَا نَرْفَعهُ " رَوَاهُ يُونُس بْن مُحَمَّد عِنْد أَبِي نُعَيْم وَأَحْمَد بْن إِبْرَاهِيم عِنْد الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيّ عَنْ حَمَّاد بْن زَيْد فَزَادَ فِيهِ " وَالْفَوَاكِه " وَرَوَاهُ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيّ مِنْ طَرِيق اِبْن الْمُبَارَك عَنْ حَمَّاد بْن زَيْد بِلَفْظِ " كُنَّا نُصِيب الْعَسَل وَالسَّمْن فِي الْمَغَازِي فَنَأْكُلهُ " وَمِنْ طَرِيق جَرِير بْن حَازِم عَنْ أَيُّوب بِلَفْظِ " أَصَبْنَا طَعَامًا وَأَغْنَامًا يَوْم الْيَرْمُوك فَلَمْ يُقَسَّم " وَهَذَا الْمَوْقُوف لَا يُغَايِر الْأَوَّل لِاخْتِلَافِ السِّيَاق , وَلِلْأَوَّلِ حُكْم الْمَرْفُوع لِلتَّصْرِيحِ بِكَوْنِهِ فِي زَمَن رَسُول اللَّه صَلَّى اللَّه عَل…

Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: During our military expeditions, we used to get honey and grapes (as spoils) and eat them without bringing them (to the Prophet or the one in charge of distributing the spoils).

وَعَن ابْن عمر قَالَ: كُنَّا نُصِيبُ فِي مَغَازِينَا الْعَسَلَ وَالْعِنَبَ فنأكله وَلَا نرفعُه رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
