Narrator:Anas ibn Mālik

حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسًا ـ رضى الله عنه ـ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم

يُفْطِرُ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ، حَتَّى نَظُنَّ أَنْ لاَ يَصُومَ مِنْهُ، وَيَصُومُ حَتَّى نَظُنَّ أَنْ لاَ يُفْطِرَ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا، وَكَانَ لاَ تَشَاءُ تَرَاهُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ مُصَلِّيًا إِلاَّ رَأَيْتَهُ، وَلاَ نَائِمًا إِلاَّ رَأَيْتَهُ‏.‏

Narrated Anas:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to leave fasting in a certain month till we thought that he would not fast in that month, and he used to fast in another month till we thought he would not stop fasting at all in that month. And if one wanted to see him praying at night, one could see him (in that condition), and if one wanted to see him sleeping at night, one could see him (in that condition) too.

المُداوَمةُ على العَملِ الصَّالحِ تُبلِّغُ العَبدَ إلى رَحمةِ اللهِ والنَّجاةِ مِن النارِ، وقد كان رسولُ اللهِ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ القُدوةَ في ذلك؛ فقد كان يُداوِمُ على كَثيرٍ مِن العِباداتِ والطاعاتِ، ومِن ذلك الصَّومُ وقِيامُ اللَّيلِ.

وفي هذا الحديثِ يَرْوي التابعيُّ حُميدٌ الطَّويلُ أنَّه سَأَلَ أنسَ بنَ مالكٍ رَضيَ اللهُ عنه عن كَيفيَّةِ صِيامِ النَّبيِّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ، فأخبَرَ أنسٌ رَضيَ اللهُ عنه أنَّه إذا أحبَّ رُؤيةَ النَّبيِّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ مِن الشَّهرِ صائمًا رآه صائمًا، وإذا أحبَّ رُؤيتَه مِن الشَّهرِ مُفطِرًا رآهُ مُفطِرًا؛ لأنَّه كان يُكثِرُ صَومَ بَعضِ أيَّامِ الشَّهرِ، ويُكثِرُ الفِطرَ في البعضِ الآخَرِ، وإذا أحَبَّ أنْ يَراهُ مِن اللَّيل قائمًا رآهُ قائمًا يُصلِّي، وإذا أحَبَّ أنْ يَراهُ مِن اللَّيلِ حالَ كونِه نائمًا رآهُ نائمًا؛ لأنَّه كان يَقسِمُ لَيلَه بيْن راحةِ جَسَدِه وبيْن عِبادةِ ربِّه،

ثمَّ أخبَرَ أنسٌ عن بَعضِ شَمائلِ النَّبيِّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ؛ فأخبَرَ أنَّه ما مَسَّ خَزًّا -وهو ما خُلِطَ مِنَ الحَريرِ والصُّوفِ- ولا حَريرًا أليَنَ مِن كَفِّ رَسولِ اللهِ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ، ولا شَمَّ مِسكًا ولا عَبيرًا –وهو طِيبٌ جَيِّدٌ مَعمولٌ مِن أخلاطٍ من الطِّيبِ- أطيَبَ رائحةً مِن رائحتِه صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ؛ فقدْ كان صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ على أكْملِ الصِّفاتِ خَلْقًا وخُلقًا، وهذه أمورٌ خَصَّهُ اللهُ بها جِبِلَّةً؛ ليَكونَ الظاهرُ عُنوانَ الباطنِ تَكميلًا له مِن كلِّ وجْهٍ.

وفي الحديثِ: ما كان عليه النَّبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ مِن الْتزامِ الطَّريقةِ الوُسْطى في عِبادِته، حيثُ لم يَلتزِمْ سَرْدَ الصِّيامِ الدَّهرَ كلَّه، ولا سَرْدَ الصلاةِ باللَّيلِ كلِّه؛ رِفقًا بنَفْسِه وبأمَّتِه؛ لئلَّا تَقتديَ به في ذَلِكَ فيُجحفَ بهم.

وفيه: ذِكرُ بَعضِ شَمائلِ النَّبيِّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ، وأنَّه كان طَيِّبَ الخِلقةِ.

وفيه: الحَثُّ على قِيامِ اللَّيلِ، وعلى صِيامِ التَّطوُّعِ.

قَوْله : ( حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّد بْن جَعْفَر ) أَيْ اِبْن أَبِي كَثِير الْمَدَنِيّ , وَحُمَيْدٌ هُوَ الطَّوِيلُ. قَوْله : ( حَتَّى نَظُنَّ ) بِنُونِ الْجَمْعِ وَبِالتَّحْتَانِيَّةِ عَلَى الْبِنَاء لِلْمَجْهُولِ , وَيَجُوز بِالْمُثَنَّاةِ عَلَى الْمُخَاطَبَة , وَيُؤَيِّدُهُ قَوْله بَعْد ذَلِكَ " إِلَّا رَأَيْته " فَإِنَّهُ رُوِيَ بِالضَّمِّ وَالْفَتْح مَعًا. قَوْله : ( أَنْ لَا يَصُوم ) بِفَتْحِ الْهَمْزَة وَيَجُوزُ فِي يَصُوم النَّصْبُ وَالرَّفْعُ. قَوْله : ( وَقَالَ سُلَيْمَان عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ أَنَسًا فِي الصَّوْم ) كُنْت أَظُنّ أَنَّ سُلَيْمَان هَذَا هُوَ اِبْنُ بِلَالٍ لَكِنْ لَمْ أَرَهُ بَعْد التَّتَبُّع التَّامِّ مِنْ حَدِيثه فَظَهَرَ لِي أَنَّهُ سُلَيْمَان بْن حَيَّانَ أَبُو…
