حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ

أَقْبَلْتُ وَقَدْ نَاهَزْتُ الْحُلُمَ، أَسِيرُ عَلَى أَتَانٍ لِي، وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي بِمِنًى، حَتَّى سِرْتُ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ بَعْضِ الصَّفِّ الأَوَّلِ، ثُمَّ نَزَلْتُ عَنْهَا فَرَتَعَتْ، فَصَفَفْتُ مَعَ النَّاسِ وَرَاءَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏.‏

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Abbas:

I came riding on my she-ass and had (just) then attained the age of puberty. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was praying at Mina. I passed in front of a part of the first row and then dismounted from it, and the animal started grazing. I aligned with the people behind Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (The sub-narrator added that happened in Mina during the Prophet's Hajjat-al-Wada`.)

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق نَسَبه الْأَصِيلِي وَابْن السَّكَن " اِبْن مَنْصُور " " وَقَدْ أَخْرَجَهُ " إِسْحَاق بْن رَاهْوَيْهِ " فِي مُسْنَده عَنْ يَعْقُوب أَيْضًا وَمِنْ طَرِيقه أَبُو نُعَيْم فِي الْمُسْتَخْرَج , لَكِنْ يُرَجِّح كَوْنه " اِبْن مَنْصُور " أَنَّ اِبْن رَاهْوَيْهِ لَا يُعَبِّر عَنْ مَشَايِخه إِلَّا بِصِيغَةِ " أَخْبَرَنَا ". وَرِوَايَة يُونُس الْمُعَلَّقَة وَصَلَهَا مُسْلِم مِنْ طَرِيق اِبْن وَهْب عَنْهُ وَلَفْظه " أَنَّهُ أَقْبَلَ يَسِير عَلَى حِمَار وَرَسُول اللَّه صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي بِمِنًى فِي حَجَّة الْوَدَاعِ ".…

That he came riding a donkey when Allah 's Apostle was standing at Mina during Hajjat-ul-Wada`, leading the people in prayer. The donkey passed in front of a part of the row (of the people offering the prayer). Then he dismounted from it and took his position in the row with the people.

“The Prophet (ﷺ) was performing prayer at ‘Arafat, and Fadl and I came riding a female donkey. We passed in front of part of the row, then we dismounted and left the donkey, and we came and joined the row.”

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُصَلِّي بِعَرَفَةَ، فَجِئْتُ أَنَا وَالْفَضْلُ عَلَى أَتَانٍ، فَمَرَرْنَا عَلَى بَعْضِ الصَّفِّ، فَنَزَلْنَا عَنْهَا وَتَرَكْنَاهَا، ثُمَّ دَخَلْنَا فِي الصَّفِّ ‏.‏
