Narrator:Abdullāh ibn Zayd

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، سَمِعَ عَبَّادَ بْنَ تَمِيمٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، قَالَ

خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى يَسْتَسْقِي، وَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَقَلَبَ رِدَاءَهُ‏.‏

Narrated `Abbad bin Tamim from his uncle who said:

"The Prophet (ﷺ) went out to the Musalla to offer the Istisqa' prayer, faced the Qibla and offered a two rak`at prayer and turned his cloak inside out." Narrated Abu Bakr, "The Prophet (ﷺ) put the right side of his cloak on his left side."

Explanation in Arabic

سَنَّ النبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ لأُمَّتِه صَلاةَ الاستِسقاءِ، وهي الصَّلاةُ التي تُصلَّى طَلَبًا لِنُزولِ المَطَرِ.

وفي هذا الحَديثِ يُخبِرُ عبدُ اللهِ بنُ زَيْدٍ رَضيَ اللهُ عنه: أنَّه رأَى النبيَّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ خَرَج ذاتَ يومٍ يُصلِّي صَلاةَ الاستِسقاءِ، فأدار ظَهْرَه للناسِ لِيَستقبِلَ القِبلةَ؛ ليَدعُوَ اللهَ، وذلك أجْمَعُ لقَلْبِ الدَّاعِي، حيثُ لا يَرَى أحدًا مِن الناسِ، وأَدْعَى إلى حُضورِه وخُشوعِه في الدُّعاءِ، وذلك أقرَبُ إلى إجابتِه، «ثمَّ حوَّل رِداءَه»، فقَلَبَه فجَعَل عَن يَسارِه ما كان عَن يَمِينِه، والعكسُ؛ وتَحويلُ الرِّداءِ فَعَلَه النبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ تفاؤُلًا بتَغيُّرِ الحالِ مِن القحْطِ إلى نُزولِ الغَيثِ والخِصبِ، ومِن ضِيقِ الحالِ إلى سَعتِه، ثمَّ صلَّى رَكعتَينِ، وكانت القِراءةُ فيهما جهْرًا.

ويَنبغي في صَلاةِ الاستِسقاءِ إظهارُ مَزيدٍ مِن التَّذلُّلِ والعُبوديَّةِ للهِ عزَّ وجلَّ؛ فالابتهالُ والتَّضرُّعُ إلى اللهِ تعالَى بالدُّعاءِ والمبالغةُ فيه مِن أعظمِ الأسبابِ التي تَدْفَعُ البَلاءَ، وتَكشِفُ الضُّرَّ.

وفي الحديثِ: مَشروعيَّةُ صَلاةِ الاستِسقاءِ.

قَوْله : ( قَالَ سُفْيَان ) هُوَ اِبْن عُيَيْنَةَ , وَهُوَ مُتَّصِل بِالْإِسْنَادِ الْأَوَّل , وَوَهَمَ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّهُ مُعَلَّق كَالْمِزِّيّ حَيْثُ عَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمَسْعُودِيّ فِي التَّهْذِيب عَلَامَة التَّعْلِيق , فَإِنَّهُ عِنْد اِبْن مَاجَهْ مِنْ وَجْه آخَر عَنْ سُفْيَان عَنْ الْمَسْعُودِيّ , وَكَذَا قَوْل اِبْن الْقَطَّانِ لَا نَدْرِي عَمَّنْ أَخَذَهُ الْبُخَارِيّ قَالَ : وَلِهَذَا لَا يَعُدّ أَحَد الْمَسْعُودِيّ فِي رِجَاله , وَقَدْ تَعَقَّبَهُ اِبْن الْمَوَّاقِ بِأَنَّ الظَّاهِر أَنَّهُ أَخَذَهُ عَنْ عَبْد اللَّه بْن مُحَمَّد شَيْخه فِيهِ , وَلَا يَلْزَم مِنْ كَوْنهمْ لَمْ يَعُدُّوا الْمَسْعُودِيّ فِي رِجَاله أَنْ لَا يَكُون وَصَلَ هَذَا الْمَوْضِع عَنْهُ لِأَنَّهُ لَمْ يَقْصِد ا…

Ibn Tamim narrated on the authority of his uncle ('Abdullah b. Zaid) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) went out to the place of prayer and prayed for rain and faced towards Qibla, and turned round his mantle and prayed two rak'ahs.
