حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ ثَابِتًا الْبُنَانِيَّ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ، يَتَكَلَّمُ بَعْدَ مَا تُقَامُ الصَّلاَةُ فَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ فَعَرَضَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَجُلٌ

فَحَبَسَهُ بَعْدَ مَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ ‏.‏

Humaid reported :

I asked Thabit al-Bunani whether it was permissible for a man to talk after the qamah had been pronounced. He narrated a tradition on the authority of Anas: (once) the Iqamah was pronounced, and a person came to the apostle of Allah (ﷺ) and detained him after the Iqamah had been pronounced.

( عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ) : بِضَمِّ الْحَاء ( سَأَلْت ثَابِتًا ) : بِالثَّاءِ الْمُثَلَّثَة اِبْن أَسْلَمَ قَالَهُ الْعَيْنِيّ ( الْبُنَانِيُّ ) : بِضَمِّ الْبَاء الْمُوَحَّدَة وَتَخْفِيف النُّون وَبَعْد الْأَلِف نُون أُخْرَى مَكْسُورَة وَهِيَ نِسْبَة إِلَى بُنَانَة زَوْجَة سَعْد بْن لُؤَيّ بْن غَالِب بْن فِهْر , وَقِيلَ كَانَتْ حَاضِنَة لِبَنِيهِ فَقَطْ. قَالَهُ الْعَيْنِيّ ( فَحَبَسَهُ ) : أَيْ مَنَعَ الرَّجُل النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ الدُّخُول فِي الصَّلَاة وَهُوَ مَحَلّ لِلتَّرْجَمَةِ , لِأَنَّ مَعْنَاهُ حَبَسَهُ عَنْ الصَّلَاة بِسَبَبِ التَّكَلُّم مَعَهُ وَكَانَ النَّاس يَنْتَظِرُونَهُ. قَالَ الْحَافِظ : فِي الْحَدِيث جَوَاز مُنَاجَاة الِاثْنَيْنِ بِحُضُورِ الْجَمَاعَة ,…

Once the Iqama was pronounced and the Prophet (ﷺ) was talking to a man (in a low voice) in a corner of the mosque and he did not lead the prayer till (some of) the people had slept (dozed in a sitting posture) .

أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ وَالنَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُنَاجِي رَجُلاً فِي جَانِبِ الْمَسْجِدِ، فَمَا قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ حَتَّى نَامَ الْقَوْمُ‏.‏

The Iqama for the prayer was announced while a man was talking to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) privately. He continued talking in that way till the Prophet's companions slept, and afterwards the Prophet (ﷺ) got up and offered the prayer with them.

أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ وَرَجُلٌ يُنَاجِي رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَمَا زَالَ يُنَاجِيهِ حَتَّى نَامَ أَصْحَابُهُ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى‏.‏

Authentic Sahih Muslim 376d

(The people) stood up for the night prayer when a man spoke forth: I need to say something. The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) entered into secret conversation with him, till the people dozed off or some of the people (dozed off), and then they said the prayer.

أُقِيمَتْ صَلاَةُ الْعِشَاءِ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ لِي حَاجَةٌ ‏.‏ فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُنَاجِيهِ حَتَّى نَامَ الْقَوْمُ - أَوْ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ - ثُمَّ صَلَّوْا ‏.‏
