حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، - وَنَحْنُ بِبَيْرُوتَ - عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏"‏

مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوِ انْتَمَى إِلَى غَيْرِ مَوَالِيهِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ الْمُتَتَابِعَةُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ‏"

Anas b. Malik reported the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) as saying:

If anyone pretends to be the son of a man other than his father, or attributes his freedom to people other than those who set him free, on him will be the curse of Allah that will continue till the day of resurrection.

Al-Azimabadi — Awn al-Ma'bud

( وَنَحْنُ بِبَيْرُوت ) : فِي الْقَامُوس : بَيْرُوت بَلَد بِالشَّامِ أَيْ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيد وَالْحَال أَنَّا مُقِيمُونَ بِبَيْرُوت ( مَنْ اِدَّعَى إِلَى غَيْر أَبِيهِ إِلَخْ ) : قَالَ الْعَلْقَمِيّ قَالَ النَّوَوِيّ : هَذَا صَرِيح فِي غِلَظ تَحْرِيم اِنْتِسَاب الْإِنْسَان إِلَى غَيْر أَبِيهِ أَوْ اِنْتِمَاء الْعَتِيق إِلَى وَلَاء غَيْر مَوَالِيه لِمَا فِيهِ مِنْ كُفْر النِّعْمَة وَتَضْيِيع حُقُوق الْإِرْث وَالْوَلَاء وَالْعَقْل وَغَيْر ذَلِكَ مَعَ مَا فِيهِ مِنْ قَطِيعَة الرَّحِم وَالْعُقُوق اِنْتَهَى. قَالَ الْمُنْذِرِيُّ : وَأَخْرَجَ الْبُخَارِيّ وَمُسْلِم وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ نَحْوه مِنْ حَدِيث عَلِيّ بْن أَبِي طَالِب عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام وَفِيهِ " فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْ…

if a man becomes the client of any people without the permission of his patrons (i.e. those who have freed him), on him will be the curse of Allah, of angels and of all people; no obligatory or supererogatory worship will be accepted from him.

Anyone falsely claims to be the son of other than his father, knowing that he is not his father, will be forbidden to enter Paradise

Sa‘d ibn Abi Waqqās (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Anyone falsely claims to be the son of other than his father, knowing that he is not his father, will be forbidden to enter Paradise."

مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ غَيْرُ أَبِيهِ فَالْجَنَّةُ عَلَيْهِ حَرَامٌ ‏"

“Whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father, or (a freed slave) who claims that his Wala is for other than his real master, the curse of Allah (SWT), the angels and all the people will be upon him.”
