حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَحْيَى - عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏

لاَ تُخَيِّرُوا بَيْنَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ ‏"

Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) as saying :

Do not distinguish between the Prophets.

Reported by Abu Dawud (No. 4668), Al-Bukhari (No. 2412, 3398, 4638, 6916, 6917), Muslim (No. 2374b) and Ahmad (No. 10835, 10856).

Al-Azimabadi — Awn al-Ma'bud

( لَا تُخَيِّرُوا بَيْن الْأَنْبِيَاء ) : يَعْنِي لَا تُفَضِّلُوا بَعْضهمْ عَلَى بَعْض مِنْ عِنْد أَنْفُسكُمْ أَوْ مَعْنَاهُ لَا تُفَضِّلُوا يُؤَدِّي إِلَى تَنْقِيص الْمَفْضُول مِنْهُمْ وَالْإِزْرَاء بِهِ وَهُوَ كُفْر أَوْ مَعْنَاهُ لَا تُفَضِّلُوا فِي نَفْس النُّبُوَّة فَإِنَّهُمْ مُتَسَاوُونَ فِيهَا , وَإِنَّمَا التَّفَاضُل بِالْخَصَائِصِ وَفَضَائِل أُخْرَى كَمَا قَالَ تَعَالَى { تِلْكَ الرُّسُل فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضهمْ عَلَى بَعْض } الْآيَة كَذَا فِي الْمَبَارِق. وَقَالَ الْخَطَّابِيُّ : مَعْنَى هَذَا تَرْك التَّخْيِير بَيْنهمْ عَلَى وَجْه الْإِزْرَاء بِبَعْضِهِمْ فَإِنَّهُ رُبَّمَا أَدَّى ذَلِكَ إِلَى فَسَاد الِاعْتِقَاد فِيهِمْ وَالْإِخْلَال بِالْوَاجِبِ مِنْ حُقُوقهمْ وَلَيْسَ مَعْنَاهُ أَن…
