حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ، عَنْ وَكِيعٍ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي بَيْتِهِ فَرَأَيْتُهُ

مُتَّكِئًا عَلَى وِسَادَةٍ -

Narrated Jabir ibn Samurah:

When I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) in his house, I saw him sitting reclining on a pillow. The narrator Ibn al-Jarrah added: "on his left side".

Abu Dawud said: Ishaq b. Mansur transmitted it from Isra'il, also mentioning the words "on his left side".

Al-Azimabadi — Awn al-Ma'bud

( فَرَأَيْته مُتَّكِئًا عَلَى وِسَادَة ) : بِكَسْرِ الْوَاو ( زَادَ اِبْن الْجَرَّاح عَلَى يَسَاره ) أَيْ : زَادَ عَبْد اللَّه بْن الْجَرَّاح فِي رِوَايَته لَفْظ عَلَى يَسَاره بَعْد قَوْله عَلَى وِسَادَة وَتَابَعَهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ إِسْحَاق بْن مَنْصُور. قَالَ الْمِزِّيُّ فِي الْأَطْرَاف : حَدِيث إِسْرَائِيل بْن يُونُس بْنِ أَبِي إِسْحَاق السَّبِيعِيّ عَنْ سِمَاك عَنْ جَابِر بْن سَمُرَة قَالَ : " دَخَلْت عَلَى النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَيْته فَرَأَيْته مُتَّكِئًا عَلَى وِسَادَة " أَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ فِي اللِّبَاس عَنْ أَحْمَد بْن حَنْبَل وَعَبْد اللَّه بْن الْجَرَّاح , وَأَخْرَجَهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ فِي الِاسْتِئْذَان عَنْ يُوسُف بْن عِيسَى ثَلَاثَتهمْ عَنْ وَكِيع وَعَنْ…

Authentic Sahih al-Bukhari 2479

Aisha said that she hung a curtain decorated with pictures (of animals) on a cupboard. The Prophet (ﷺ) tore that curtain and she turned it into two cushions which remained in the house for the Prophet (ﷺ) to sit on.

أَنَّهَا كَانَتِ اتَّخَذَتْ عَلَى سَهْوَةٍ لَهَا سِتْرًا فِيهِ تَمَاثِيلُ، فَهَتَكَهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، فَاتَّخَذَتْ مِنْهُ نُمْرُقَتَيْنِ، فَكَانَتَا فِي الْبَيْتِ يَجْلِسُ عَلَيْهِمَا‏.‏
