حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏

إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ طَعَامًا فَلاَ يَأْكُلْ مِنْ أَعْلَى الصَّحْفَةِ وَلَكِنْ لِيَأْكُلْ مِنْ أَسْفَلِهَا فَإِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ تَنْزِلُ مِنْ أَعْلاَهَا ‏"

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: When one of you eats, he must not eat from the top of the dish, but should eat from the bottom; for the blessing descends from the top of it.

Reported by Abu Dawud (No. 3772).

Al-Azimabadi — Awn al-Ma'bud

( وَلَكِنْ يَأْكُل مِنْ أَسْفَلِهَا ) : أَيْ مِنْ جَانِبه الَّذِي يَلِيه ( فَإِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ تَنْزِل مِنْ أَعْلَاهَا ) : وَفِي رِوَايَة التِّرْمِذِيّ وَابْن مَاجَهْ وَأَحْمَد " فَإِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ تَنْزِل فِي وَسَطهَا " قَالَ الْقَارِي : وَالْوَسَط أَعْدَلُ الْمَوَاضِع فَكَانَ أَحَقَّ بِنُزُولِ الْبَرَكَة فِيهِ. وَفِي الْحَدِيث مَشْرُوعِيَّةُ الْأَكْلِ مِنْ جَوَانِبِ الطَّعَامِ قَبْلَ وَسَطِهِ. قَالَ الرَّافِعِيّ وَغَيْره : يُكْرَه أَنْ يَأْكُلَ مِنْ أَعْلَى الثَّرِيد وَوَسَط الْقَصْعَة , وَأَنْ يَأْكُلَ مِمَّا يَلِي أَكِيلهُ , وَلَا بَأْس بِذَلِكَ فِي الْفَوَاكِه , وَتَعَقَّبَهُ الْإِسْنَوِيّ بِأَنَّ الشَّافِعِيَّ نَصَّ عَلَى التَّحْرِيم. قَالَ الْغَزَالِيّ : وَكَذَا لَا يَأْكُل مِنْ وَسَ…
