حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، - رَجُلٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ - عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَعَا بِإِدَاوَةٍ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَقَالَ ‏"‏

اخْنُثْ فَمَ الإِدَاوَةِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ ثُمَّ شَرِبَ مِنْ فِيهَا ‏.‏

A man of the Ansar quoting from his father said that the Prophet (ﷺ) called for a skin-vessel on the day of the battle of Uhud. He then said:

Invert the head of the vessel and he drank from its mouth.

Al-Azimabadi — Awn al-Ma'bud

( عُبَيْد اللَّهِ بْن عُمَر ) : هَكَذَا عُبَيْد اللَّه مُصَغَّرًا فِي بَعْض النُّسَخ وَهُوَ إِمَام ثِقَة وَفِي بَعْض النُّسَخ عَبْد اللَّه مُكَبَّرًا وَهُوَ ضَعِيف. وَالْمُنْذِرِيُّ رَجَّحَ نُسْخَة الْمُكَبَّر كَمَا يَظْهَر مِنْ كَلَامه الْآتِي وَاَللَّه أَعْلَمُ. ( رَجُل مِنْ الْأَنْصَار ) : بِالْجَرِّ بَدَل بَدَل مِنْ عِيسَى ( فَقَالَ اِخْنِثْ فَم الْإِدَاوَة ) : فِي هَذَا دَلَالَة عَلَى جَوَاز الِاخْتِنَاث مِنْ فَم الْإِدَاوَة. وَقَدْ دَلَّ الْحَدِيث الْأَوَّل عَلَى النَّهْي عَنْ ذَلِكَ. قَالَ الْخَطَّابِيُّ فِي الْمَعَالِم يَحْتَمِل أَنْ يَكُونَ النَّهْي إِنَّمَا جَاءَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ إِذَا شَرِبَ مِنْ السِّقَاء الْكَبِير دُون الْإِدَاوَة وَنَحْوهَا , وَيَحْتَمِل أَنْ يَكُونَ إِنَّمَا أَبَاح…

Ali came to the gate of the courtyard (of the Mosque) and drank (water) while he was standing and said, "Some people dislike to drink while standing, but I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) doing (drinking water) as you have seen me doing now."

نَاسًا يَكْرَهُ أَحَدُهُمْ أَنْ يَشْرَبَ وَهْوَ قَائِمٌ، وَإِنِّي رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَعَلَ كَمَا رَأَيْتُمُونِي فَعَلْتُ‏.‏
