حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ ثَوْرٍ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ مَا رَأَيْتُ شَيْئًا أَشْبَهَ بِاللَّمَمِ مِمَّا قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ إِنَّ اللَّهَ

كَتَبَ عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ حَظَّهُ مِنَ الزِّنَا أَدْرَكَ ذَلِكَ لاَ مَحَالَةَ فَزِنَا الْعَيْنَيْنِ النَّظَرُ وَزِنَا اللِّسَانِ الْمَنْطِقُ وَالنَّفْسُ تَمَنَّى وَتَشْتَهِي وَالْفَرْجُ يُصَدِّقُ ذَلِكَ وَيُكَذِّبُهُ ‏"

Ibn ‘Abbas said “I did not see anything more resembling to minor sins than what Abu Hurairah reported from the Prophet (ﷺ) who said “Allaah has decreed for the children of Adam a share in adultery, he will get it by all means, the adultery of eyes is looking; the adultery of tongue is speaking; the soul desires and has a passion; the private parts confirms or falsifies it.”

( مَا رَأَيْت شَيْئًا أَشْبَه بِاللَّمَمِ مِمَّا قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَة ) : قَالَ الْخَطَّابِيّ : يُرِيد بِذَلِكَ مَا عَفَا اللَّه مِنْ صِغَار الذُّنُوب وَهُوَ مَعْنَى قَوْله تَعَالَى : { الَّذِينَ يَجْتَنِبُونَ كَبَائِر الْإِثْم وَالْفَوَاحِش إِلَّا اللَّمَم } وَهُوَ مَا يُلِمّ بِهِ الْإِنْسَان مِنْ صِغَار الذُّنُوب الَّتِي لَا يَكَاد يَسْلَم مِنْهَا إِلَّا مَنْ عَصَمَهُ اللَّه وَحَفِظَهُ ( إِنَّ اللَّه كَتَبَ ) : أَيْ أَثْبَتَ فِي اللَّوْح الْمَحْفُوظ ( حَظّه ) : أَيْ نَصِيبه ( مِنْ الزِّنَا ) : بِالْقَصْرِ عَلَى الْأَفْصَح. قَالَ الْقَارِي : وَالْمُرَاد مِنْ الْحَظّ مُقَدِّمَات الزِّنَا مِنْ التَّمَنِّي وَالتَّخَطِّي وَالتَّكَلُّم لِأَجْلِهِ وَالنَّظَر وَاللَّمْس وَالتَّخَلِّي. وَقِيلَ أَث…

Verily Allah has fixed the very portion of adultery which a man will indulge in, and which he of necessity must commit. The adultery of the eye is the lustful look, and the adultery of the tongue is the licentious speech, the heart desires and yearns, which the parts may or may not put into effect.
