حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الْبَزَّازُ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ، عَنِ الْمُخْتَارِ بْنِ فُلْفُلٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ

صَلَّيْتُ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْمَغْرِبِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏.‏ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأَنَسٍ أَرَآكُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ نَعَمْ رَآنَا فَلَمْ يَأْمُرْنَا وَلَمْ يَنْهَنَا ‏.‏

Narrated Anas b. Malik :

I offered two rak'ahs of prayer before the Maghrib prayer (i.e. obligatory) during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). I (narrator al-Mukhtar b. Fulful) asked Anas: Did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) se you ? He replied: Yes, but he neither commanded us nor forbade us (to do so).

( مُحَمَّد بْن عَبْد الرَّحِيم الْبَزَّاز ) : بِزَائِينَ مُعْجَمَتَيْنِ هَكَذَا فِي تَذْكِرَة الْحُفَّاظ لِلذَّهَبِيِّ. وَمُحَمَّد بْن عَبْد الرَّحِيم هَذَا الْمَعْرُوف بِصَاعِقَةَ وَهَكَذَا فِي تُحْفَة الْأَشْرَاف. وَفِي بَعْض النُّسَخ مُحَمَّد بْن عَبْد الرَّحِيم الْبَرْقِيّ وَهُوَ أَيْضًا مِنْ شُيُوخ أَبِي دَاوُدَ وَالْأَوَّل هُوَ الْأَصَحّ. كَذَا فِي غَايَة الْمَقْصُود ( عَنْ الْمُخْتَار بْن فُلْفُل ) : بِضَمَّتَيْنِ ( قُلْت ) : قَوْل الْمُخْتَار الرَّاوِي ( فَلَمْ يَأْمُرنَا وَلَمْ يَنْهَنَا ) : قَالَ الطِّيبِيُّ : أَيْ لَمْ يَأْمُر مَنْ لَمْ يُصَلِّ وَلَمْ يَنْهَ مَنْ صَلَّى اِنْتَهَى. وَفِيهِ تَقْرِير مِنْهُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام. قَالَ النَّوَوِيّ : فِي هَذِهِ الرِّوَايَات اِسْتِحْبَاب…

“I heard Anas bin Malik say: ‘The Mu ’adh-dhin would call the Adhan during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and one would think that it was the Iqamah because there were so many people who stood and performed the two Rak’ah before the Maghrib.”

إِنْ كَانَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ لَيُؤَذِّنُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَيُرَى أَنَّهَا الإِقَامَةُ مِنْ كَثْرَةِ مَنْ يَقُومُ فَيُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْمَغْرِبِ ‏.‏
