Biography of Ahmed Al Hajeri
Ahmed Al Hajeri: A Moving Voice and a Polished Performance
Ahmed Al Hajeri, whose full name is Ahmed Ramadan Ali Al Hajeri, was born in Kuwait. He made his name in artistic circles as an Islamic nasheed singer with a distinctive vocal tone and well-chosen material. Arab audiences came to know him through his albums and nasheed videos, broadcast by a number of Arab satellite channels and websites.
His polished performance of Islamic nasheeds and his constant drive for success and excellence have endeared him to audiences in Kuwait and across the Arab world. His work appeals to young and old alike for the noble moral and human messages it carries.
His body of work includes a number of single nasheeds and albums, most notably “Ad’ouk,” which launched his career and brought him wide recognition. The beauty of its lyrics and the poetic quality of its melodies, together with a polished and restrained performance, are among the factors behind the album’s success throughout the Arab world.
In addition, Ahmed Al Hajeri has a substantial catalog: he has released other albums that won audiences’ admiration, including the album “Hanna Al-Fouad,” the album “Farhati,” and the album “Anta Malak,” which he recorded together with a group of well-known nasheed singers.
