الإحسان
61 verses in 22 surahs · 13 subtopics
Ihsan is what Allah loves in His servants, and it is in His creation too, for He perfected everything He created. These verses command excellence in every work, make kindness the basis of conduct towards parents, women and orphans, and make it a condition of submission to Allah and of discussion with the People of the Book, promising those who do good a fine reward guaranteed by Allah.
Verses gathered from a topical index of the Quran, in Mushaf order; every verse is quoted in full.
It was not [proper] for the people of Madīnah and those surrounding them of the bedouins that they remain behind after [the departure of] the Messenger of Allāh or that they prefer themselves over his self. That is because they are not afflicted by thirst or fatigue or hunger in the cause of Allāh, nor do they tread on any ground that enrages the disbelievers, nor do they inflict upon an enemy any infliction but that it is registered for them as a righteous deed. Indeed, Allāh does not allow to be lost the reward of the doers of good.
And thus We established Joseph in the land to settle therein wherever he willed. We touch with Our mercy whom We will, and We do not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good.
They said, "Are you indeed Joseph?" He said, "I am Joseph, and this is my brother. Allāh has certainly favored us. Indeed, he who fears Allāh and is patient, then indeed, Allāh does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good."
