Tafsir of verse 14
Al-Mukhtasar
When I sent to them at first two messengers to call them to Allah’s Oneness and His worship. But they rejected these two messengers. Then we sent as reinforcement for these two a third Messenger with them. The three messengers said to the people of the town: We - all three of us - have been sent to you, to call you to Allah’s Oneness and to follow His law.
When We sent them two [messengers], but they rejected them, so We strengthened them with a third, and they said, “We are sent to you as messengers.”
When We sent to them two Messengers, they belied them both; so We reinforced them with a third, and they said: "Verily we have been sent to you as Messengers."
When We sent unto them twain, and they denied them both, so We reinforced them with a third, and they said: Lo! we have been sent unto you.
When We (first) sent to them two messengers, they rejected them: But We strengthened them with a third: they said, "Truly, we have been sent on a mission to you."
When We sent to them two, they rejected both of them, then We strengthened (them) with a third, so they said: Surely we are messengers to you.
As We sent to them two (men). Yet they cried them lies, so We reinforced them with a third. Then they said, "Surely we are (sent) to you as Emissaries."
