سورة طه، الآية ٧٨
فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ بِجُنُودِهِۦ فَغَشِيَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْيَمِّ مَا غَشِيَهُمْ ٧٨
fa-atbaʿahum fir'ʿawnu bijunūdihi faghashiyahum mina l-yami mā ghashiyahum
So Pharaoh pursued them with his soldiers, and there covered them from the sea that which covered them,845
[845] i.e., not only the water but that which only Allāh knows - terror, pain, regret, etc.

Then Pharoah, accompanied by his armies, followed them. Then he and his armies were engulfed by part of the sea, the reality of which only Allah knows. They all drowned and perished, whilst Moses and those with him were saved.
Then Pharaoh pursued them with his soldiers, but they were completely overwhelmed by the sea21.
[21] i.e., not only drowning in water but other things which are only known to Allah such as terror, pain, regret, etc.
Then Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) pursued them with his hosts, but the sea-water completely overwhelmed them and covered them up.
Then Pharaoh followed them with his hosts and there covered them that which did cover them of the sea.
Then Pharaoh pursued them with his forces, but the waters completely overwhelmed them and covered them up.
And Firon followed them with his armies, so there came upon them of the sea that which came upon them.
Then Firaawn (pharaoh) followed them up with his hosts, yet they were enveloped by the main in that (manner) of enveloping.
نَحْنُ أَوْلَى بِمُوسَى مِنْهُمْ فَصُومُوهُ "
وَٱلْمُؤْتَفِكَةَ أَهْوَىٰ …
And the overturned towns He hurled down …
