Text of verse 43:21

أَمْ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ كِتَٰبًا مِّن قَبْلِهِۦ فَهُم بِهِۦ مُسْتَمْسِكُونَ ۝٢١

Transliteration

am ātaynāhum kitāban min qablihi fahum bihi mus'tamsikūna

Or have We given them a book before it [i.e., the Qur’ān] to which they are adhering?

Or, have I given these idolaters a book before the Qur’ān that allows them to worship other than Allah, which they are holding fast to and using as evidence?
