Tafsir of verse 44
Al-Mukhtasar
Allah alternates between the length of the day and night. Indeed, in that alternation is a lesson in the power of Allah and His oneness, for those who have foresight.
Allah alternates the night and day. Indeed, there is a lesson in this for people of insight.
Allâh causes the night and the day to succeed each other (i.e. if the day is gone, the night comes, and if the night is gone, the day comes, and so on). Truly, in this is indeed a lesson for those who have insight.
Allah causeth the revolution of the day and the night. Lo! herein is indeed a lesson for those who see.
It is Allah Who alternates the Night and the Day: verily in these things is an instructive example for those who have vision!
Allah turns over the night and the day; most surely there is a lesson in this for those who have sight.
Allah turns about (i.e., alternates) the night and the day-time. Surely in that is indeed a lesson for the ones endowed with beholdings.
Already there has been for you a sign in the two armies which met [in combat at Badr] - one fighting in the cause of Allāh and another of disbelievers. They saw them [to be] twice their [own] number by [their] eyesight. But Allāh supports with His victory whom He wills. Indeed in that is a lesson for those of vision.
