Tafsir of verse 88
Al-Mukhtasar
And as for the one who believes in Allah and does good deeds, for him is paradise, as a reward from your Lord for his faith and good deeds. And I shall say to him of my command that which contains ease and lenience”.
But he who believes and does righteous deeds, he will have the best reward44, and we will enjoin upon him to do what is easy.”
Notes
[44] i.e., Paradise.
"But as for him who believes (in Allâh’s Oneness) and works righteousness, he shall have the best reward, (Paradise), and we (Dhul-Qarnain) shall speak unto him mild words (as instructions)."
But as for him who believeth and doeth right, good will be his reward, and We shall speak unto him a mild command.
"But whoever believes, and works righteousness,- he shall have a goodly reward, and easy will be his task as We order it by our Command."
And as for him who believes and does good, he shall have goodly reward, and We will speak to him an easy word of Our command.
And as for him who believes and does righteousness, then he will have as recompense the fairest (reward), and we soon will say to him, of our command, cEase."
And it is not your wealth or your children that bring you nearer to Us in position, but it is [by being] one who has believed and done righteousness. For them there will be the double reward for what they did, and they will be in the upper chambers [of Paradise], safe [and secure].
