Do not say - O Prophet - about anything that you want to do tomorrow: “I am going to do this tomorrow,” because you do not know whether you will do it or you will be prevented from doing so? This is a directive for every Muslim.
And never say about anything, “I will surely do this tomorrow15,”
[15] For you do not know whether you will be able to do it or you will be diverted from it.
And never say of anything, "I shall do such and such thing tomorrow."
And say not of anything: Lo! I shall do that tomorrow,
Nor say of anything, "I shall be sure to do so and so tomorrow"-
And do not say of anything: Surely I will do it tomorrow,
And definitely do not say, regarding anything, "Surely I am performing that tomorrow, "
