عَجَّ حَجَرٌ إلى اللهِ تعالى فقال: إلهي وسيدي عبدتُك منذُ كذا وكذا سنةٍ (وفي رواية: ألفَ سنةٍ)، ثم جعلتَني في أُسِّ كَنِيفٍ؟ فقال: أو ما ترضَى أن عَدَلْتُ بك عن مَجالسِ القُضاةِ؟
