حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا ابْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏

"‏ أَلاَ إِنَّ عَيْبَتِي الَّتِي آوِي إِلَيْهَا أَهْلُ بَيْتِي وَإِنَّ كَرِشِي الأَنْصَارُ فَاعْفُوا عَنْ مُسِيئِهِمْ وَاقْبَلُوا مِنْ مُحْسِنِهِمْ ‏"

Narrated Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri:

that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Indeed my elite, those whom I lean towards, are the people of my house and my close ones are the Ansar, so forgive those who do wrong from them and accept from those who do good from them."

Al-Mubarakfuri — Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi

قَوْلُهُ : ( أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ) السِّينَانِيُّ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ( عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ ) الْعَوْفِيِّ. قَوْلُهُ : " أَلَا" بِالتَّخْفِيفِ لِلتَّنْبِيهِ " إِنَّ عَيْبَتِي" أَيْ خَاصَّتِي الَّتِي " آوِي" أَيْ أَمِيلُ وَأَرْجِعُ " وَإِنَّ كَرِشِي " أَيْ بِطَانَتِي " فَاعْفُوا عَنْ مُسِيئِهِمْ وَاقْبَلُوا مِنْ مُحْسِنِهِمْ" الضَّمِيرُ رَاجِعٌ إِلَى الصِّنْفَيْنِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَيْتِ وَالْأَنْصَارِ عَلَى حَدِّ قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى : { هَذَانِ خَصْمَانِ اِخْتَصَمُوا } وَيُحْتَمَلُ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ إِلَى الْأَخِيرِ وَالْأَوَّلُ يُفْهَمُ بِالطَّرِيقِ الْأَوْلَى. قَوْلُهُ : ( وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ ) أَخْرَجَهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ بَعْدَ هَذَا.…

Abu Sa'id reported God's messenger as saying, "My confidants to whom I turn are my family, and my close friends are the Ansar, so forgive those of them who do wrong and accept the excuses of those of them who do good." Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying this is a hasan tradition.
