حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَنْعُمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏

"‏ التَّسْبِيحُ نِصْفُ الْمِيزَانِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ يَمْلَؤُهُ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ لَيْسَ لَهَا دُونَ اللَّهِ حِجَابٌ حَتَّى تَخْلُصَ إِلَيْهِ ‏"

Abdullah bin Amr narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:

“At-Tasbīḥ is half of the Scale, and All praise is due to Allah (Al-Ḥamdulillāh)’ fills it, and (as for) None has the right to be worshipped but Allah (Lā Ilāha Illallāh)’ - there is no barrier to it from Allah until it reaches Him.”

قَوْلُهُ : ( عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زِيَادِ ) بْنِ أَنْعَمَ الْأَفْرِيقِيِّ ( عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ) هُوَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجَبَلِيُّ الْمِصْرِيُّ الْمَعَافِرِيُّ. قَوْلُهُ : ( التَّسْبِيحُ نِصْفُ الْمِيزَانِ ) أَيْ ثَوَابُهُ بَعْدَ تَجَسُّمِهِ يَمْلَأُ نِصْفَ الْمِيزَانِ وَالْمُرَادُ بِهِ إِحْدَى كِفَّتَيْهِ الْمَوْضُوعَةُ لِوَضْعِ الْحَسَنَاتِ فِيهَا ( وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ يَمْلَؤُهُ ) أَيْ الْمِيزَانَ أَوْ نِصْفَهُ وَهُوَ أَظْهَرُ لِأَنَّ الْأَذْكَارَ تَنْحَصِرُ فِي نَوْعَيْنِ التَّنْزِيهِ وَالتَّحْمِيدِ. قَالَ الطِّيبِيُّ فَيَكُونُ الْحَمْدُ نِصْفَهُ الْآخَرَ فَهُمَا مُتَسَاوِيَانِ , وَيُلَائِمُهُ حَدِيثُ ثَقِيلَتَانِ فِي الْمِيزَانِ , وَيَحْتَمِلُ تَفْضِيلَ ال…

‘Abdallah b. ‘Amr reported God’s messenger as saying that “Glory be to God” fills half the scale, “Praise be to God” fills it, and “There is no god but God” has no veil between it and God till it reaches Him. Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying this is a gharib tradition whose isnad is not strong.
