حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَخْبَرَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ هِلاَلِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ إِنَّ

أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ لَيَتَرَاءَوْنَ فِي الْغُرْفَةِ كَمَا تَتَرَاءَوْنَ الْكَوْكَبَ الشَّرْقِيَّ أَوِ الْكَوْكَبَ الْغَرْبِيَّ الْغَارِبَ فِي الأُفُقِ أَوِ الطَّالِعَ فِي تَفَاضُلِ الدَّرَجَاتِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أُولَئِكَ النَّبِيُّونَ ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ بَلَى وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ وَأَقْوَامٌ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَصَدَّقُوا الْمُرْسَلِينَ ‏"

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w) said:

"Indeed, the people of Paradise shall see the upper chamber like they see the eastern star, or the western star, disappearing in the far edge of the sky, or ascending due to the differences in levels." They said: "Are those the Prophets?" He said: "Yes. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, and groups who had faith in Allah and His Messenger, and believed in the Messengers."

Al-Mubarakfuri — Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi

قَوْلُهُ : ( عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ ) بْنِ أُسَامَةَ الْعَامِرِيِّ الْمَدَنِيِّ وَيُنْسَبُ إِلَى جَدِّهِ ثِقَةٌ مِنْ الْخَامِسَةِ. قَوْلُهُ : ( إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ لَيَتَرَاءَوْنَ فِي الْغُرْفَةِ ) كَذَا فِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ هَذَا , وَالْمَعْنَى أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ يَتَرَاءَوْنَ أَهْلَ الْغَرْفَةِ. وَفِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عِنْدَ الشَّيْخَيْنِ إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ لَيَتَرَاءَوْنَ أَهْلَ الْغُرَفِ مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ , وَالْغُرْفَةُ بِضَمِّ الْغَيْنِ وَسُكُونِ الرَّاءِ وَهِيَ بَيْتٌ يُبْنَى فَوْقَ الدَّارِ , وَالْمُرَادُ هُنَا الْقُصُورُ الْعَالِيَةُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ. وَالْمَعْنَى إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ تَتَفَاوَتُ مَنَازِلُهُمْ بِحَسَبِ دَرَجَاتِهِمْ فِي الْفَضْلِ حَتَّى…

The inmates of Paradise will look to the upper apartment of Paradise as you see the planets in the sky. I narrated this hadith to Nu'man b. Abi 'Ayyash and he said: I heard Abu Sa'id al-Khudri as saying: As you see the shining planets in the eastern and western (sides of) horizon.
