حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ بُرْقَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْزُوقٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ الْخَوْلاَنِيِّ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏"‏ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

الْمُتَحَابُّونَ فِي جَلاَلِي لَهُمْ مَنَابِرُ مِنْ نُورٍ يَغْبِطُهُمُ النَّبِيُّونَ وَالشُّهَدَاءُ ‏"

Mu‘ādh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah, the Almighty, said: 'Those who love one another for the sake of My glory will have pulpits of light for which the prophets and martyrs will envy them.'"

Explanation

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) relates to us about a group of believers who, on the Day of Judgment, will have pulpits and elevated places where they will sit as a sign of honor for them from Allah. This is due to their love of each other for the sake of Allah and glorifying Him, and their love for each other due to the faith that they are united in. Even the prophets (peace be upon them) will wish to have their status. This does not necessarily mean that they are better than the prophets, because this particular virtue does not supersede the general virtue.

Explanation in Arabic

يخبر النبي -عليه الصلاة والسلام- فيما يرويه عن ربه عز وجل عن طائفة من المؤمنين أن لهم يوم القيامة منابر وأماكن مرتفعة يجلسون عليها إكرامًا من الله لهم، وذلك لأجل أنهم تحابوا في سبيل الله إجلالاً له سبحانه ، وتحابوا فيما بينهم لما اجتمعوا عليه من الإيمان، حتى يتمنى الأنبياء -عليهم السلام- أن يكونوا بمنزلتهم، لكن لا يلزم من ذلك أنهم خير من الأنبياء -عليهم السلام-، فالفضل الخاص لا يقضي على الفضل العام.

  • للمتحابين في جلال الله منزلة عظيمة ومقام كريم عند رب العالمين.
  • جواز الغبطة في الخير، ولا يُعَدُّ ذلك من الحسد المذموم.
  • قد تكون في المفضول صفة يتمناها الفاضل.
  • لا يلزم من غبطة الأنبياء للمتحابين في الله أن يكونوا خيرًا من الأنبياء، فإن أفضل الخلق الأنبياء.

قَوْلُهُ : ( أَخْبَرَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ) الْكِلَابِيُّ أَبُو سَهْلٍ الرَّقِّيُّ نَزِيلُ بَغْدَادَ , ثِقَةٌ مِنْ السَّابِعَةِ ( أَخْبَرَنَا حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْزُوقٍ ) الرَّقِّيُّ ثِقَةٌ فَاضِلٌ مِنْ السَّابِعَةِ. قَوْلُهُ : ( الْمُتَحَابُّونَ فِي جَلَالِي ) أَيْ لِأَجْلِ إِجْلَالِي وَتَعْظِيمِي ( يَغْبِطُهُمْ النَّبِيُّونَ وَالشُّهَدَاءُ ) قَالَ الْقَارِي : بِكَسْرِ الْمُوَحَّدَةِ مِنْ الْغِبْطَةِ بِالْكَسْرِ , وَهِيَ تَمَنِّي نِعْمَةً عَلَى أَلَّا تَتَحَوَّلَ عَنْ صَاحِبِهَا , بِخِلَافِ الْحَسَدِ فَإِنَّهُ تَمَنِّي زَوَالَهَا عَنْ صَاحِبِهَا فَالْغِبْطَةُ فِي الْحَقِيقَةِ عِبَارَةٌ عَنْ حُسْنِ الْحَالِ كَذَا قِيلَ. وَفِي الْقَامُوسِ : الْغِبْطَةُ حُسْنُ الْحَالِ وَالْمَسَرَّةِ , ف…
