Narrator:Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ ‏

"‏ هَا هُنَا أَرْضُ الْفِتَنِ وَأَشَارَ إِلَى الْمَشْرِقِ حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ جِذْلُ الشَّيْطَانِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ أَوْ قَالَ ‏"‏ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ ‏"

Ibn 'Umar narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) stood on the Minbar and said:

"The land of Fitan is there" and he pointed to the east, meaning: "Where the sun rises from the horn of Shaitan" or he said: "The horn of the sun."

Al-Mubarakfuri — Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi

قَوْلُهُ : ( فَقَالَ هَاهُنَا أَرْضُ الْفِتَنِ ) أَيْ الْبَلِيَّاتِ وَالْمِحَنِ الْمُوجِبَةِ لِضَعْفِ الدِّينِ ( حَيْثُ يَطْلُع قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ ) قَالَ فِي الْقَامُوسِ : قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ وَقَرْنَاهُ أُمَّتُهُ وَالْمُتَّبِعُونَ لِرَأْيِهِ وَانْتِشَارُهُ وَتَسْلِيطُهُ اِنْتَهَى ( أَوْ قَالَ ) شَكٌّ مِنْ الرَّاوِي ( قَرْنُ الشَّمْسِ ) فِي الْقَامُوسِ : الْقَرْنُ مِنْ الشَّمْسِ نَاحِيَتُهَا أَوْ أَعْلَاهَا أَوْ أَوَّلُ شُعَاعِهَا وَيَأْتِي بَقِيَّةُ الْكَلَامِ عَلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فِي أَوَاخِرِ الْكِتَابِ. قَوْلُهُ : ( هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ) وَأَخْرَجَهُ الشَّيْخَانِ.…
