حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏

"‏ فُضِّلْتُ عَلَى الأَنْبِيَاءِ بِسِتٍّ أُعْطِيتُ جَوَامِعَ الْكَلِمِ وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ وَأُحِلَّتْ لِيَ الْغَنَائِمُ وَجُعِلَتْ لِيَ الأَرْضُ مَسْجِدًا وَطَهُورًا وَأُرْسِلْتُ إِلَى الْخَلْقِ كَافَّةً وَخُتِمَ بِيَ النَّبِيُّونَ ‏"

Another chain from Abu Hurairah who narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

"I have been honored over the Prophets with six (things): I have been given Jawami' Al-Kalam, I have been aided by (the ability to cause in the enemy) fright, the spoils of war have been made lawful for me, the Earth has been made as a Masjid and purifier for me, and I have been sent to all creatures, and with me Prophethood is sealed."

Al-Mubarakfuri — Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi

قَوْلُهُ : ( فُضِّلْت ) بِصِيغَةِ الْمَجْهُولِ مِنْ التَّفْضِيلِ ( عَلَى الْأَنْبِيَاءِ بِسِتٍّ ) أَيْ بِسِتِّ خِصَالٍ ( أُعْطِيت جَوَامِعَ الْكَلِمِ ) قَالَ الْحَافِظُ : جَوَامِعُ الْكَلِمِ الْقُرْآنُ , فَإِنَّهُ تَقَعُ فِيهِ الْمَعَانِي الْكَثِيرَةُ بِالْأَلْفَاظِ الْقَلِيلَةِ , وَكَذَلِكَ يَقَعُ فِي الْأَحَادِيثِ النَّبَوِيَّةِ الْكَثِيرُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ اِنْتَهَى. وَقَالَ اِبْنُ رَجَبٍ فِي كِتَابِهِ جَامِعِ الْعُلُومِ وَالْحِكَمِ مَا لَفْظُهُ : جَوَامِعُ الْكَلِمِ الَّتِي خُصَّ بِهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَوْعَانِ : أَحَدُهُمَا مَا هُوَ فِي الْقُرْآنِ كَقَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى : ( { إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالْإِحْسَانِ وَإِيتَاءِ ذِي الْقُرْبَى وَيَنْهَى عَنْ ا…

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: I have been helped by terror (in the heart of the enemy) ; I have been given words which are concise but comprehensive in meaning; and while I was asleep I was brought the keys of the treasures of the earth which were placed in my hand.

نُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ عَلَى الْعَدُوِّ وَأُوتِيتُ جَوَامِعَ الْكَلِمِ وَبَيْنَمَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ أُتِيتُ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الأَرْضِ فَوُضِعَتْ فِي يَدَىَّ ‏"

That is what Abu Huraira reported to us from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he narrated (some) ahadith one of which is that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: I have been helped by terror (in the hearts of enemies) and I have been given words which are concise but comprehensive in meaning.

: “The Messenger of Allah said: ‘I have been sent with concise speech and I have been supported with fear. While I was sleeping, the keys to the treasures of the Earth were brought to me and placed in my hands.’” Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah has gone and you are acquiring them.”
