حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏

"‏ إِذَا كَانَ عِنْدَ الرَّجُلِ امْرَأَتَانِ فَلَمْ يَعْدِلْ بَيْنَهُمَا جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَشِقُّهُ سَاقِطٌ ‏"

Abu Hurairah narrated that:

The Messenger of Allah said: "When a man has two wives and he is not just between them, he will come on the Day of Judgment with one side drooping."

Al-Mubarakfuri — Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi

قَوْلُهُ : ( جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَشِقُّهُ سَاقِطٌ ) وَفِي بَعْضِ الرِّوَايَاتِ جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَجُرُّ أَحَدَ شِقَّيْهِ سَاقِطًا أَوْ مَائِلًا. قَالَ الطِّيبِيُّ فِي شَرْحِ قَوْلِهِ : " وَشِقُّهُ سَاقِطٌ " أَيْ نِصْفُهُ مَائِلٌ قِيلَ بِحَيْثُ يَرَاهُ أَهْلُ الْعَرَصَاتِ لِيَكُونَ هَذَا زِيَادَةً فِي التَّعْذِيبِ وَهَذَا الْحُكْمُ غَيْرُ مَقْصُورٍ عَلَى اِمْرَأَتَيْنِ , فَإِنَّهُ لَوْ كَانَتْ ثَلَاثٌ أَوْ أَرْبَعٌ كَانَ السُّقُوطُ ثَابِتًا , وَاحْتُمِلَ أَنْ يَكُونَ نِصْفُهُ سَاقِطًا وَإِنْ لَزِمَ الْوَاحِدَةَ وَتَرَكَ الثَّلَاثَ أَوْ كَانَتْ ثَلَاثَةُ أَرْبَاعِهِ سَاقِطَةً عَلَى هَذَا فَاعْتُبِرَ , ثُمَّ إِنْ كَانَتْ الزَّوْجَتَانِ إِحْدَاهُمَا حُرَّةٌ وَالْأُخْرَى أَمَةٌ ;…

Abu Huraira reported the Prophet as saying, “When a man has two wives and does not treat them equally he will come on the day of resurrection with a side hanging down.” Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Nasa’i, Ibn Majah and Darimi transmitted it.
