Narrator:Rifā‘a ibn Rāfi az-Zuraqī

وعن رفاعة بن رافع الزرقي رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ جاء جبريل إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ ‏"‏إذا أنزل الله تعالى بقوم عذاباً‏‏.‏ وعن رفاعة بن رافع الزُّرَقِيِّ - رضي الله عنه - قال: جاء جبريل إلى النبيّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - قال: مَا تَعُدُّونَ أهْلَ بَدْرٍ فِيكُمْ؟ قال: «مِنْ أفْضَلِ المُسْلِمِينَ» أوْ كَلِمَةً نَحْوَهَا. قال: وَكَذلِكَ مَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مِنَ المَلائِكَةِ.

Rifā‘ah ibn Rāfi‘ Az-Zuraqi (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Jibrīl came to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "How do you rate the people who participated in the battle of Badr among you?" He said: "They are from the best of Muslims." or said something similar to that. Jibrīl said: "So are the angels that witnessed the battle of Badr."

Explanation

The great Companion Rifā‘ah informs us that Jibrīl (peace be upon him) came to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and said to him: What is the status of those who fought in the cause of Allah in the battle of Badr? In this battle, Allah granted His Prophet and the believers who joined him a complete victory. He said: They are the best of the Muslims among us. So Jibrīl (peace be upon him) said: The same can be said about the angels who joined the battle and fought in it.

يخبرنا الصحابي الجليل رفاعة رضي الله عنه أن جبريل عليه السلام أتى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال له: ما منزلة الذين شهدوا الجهاد في غزوة بدر، وقد نصر الله نبيه والمؤمنين الذين كانوا معه فيها نصرا مؤزرا فقال صلى لله عليه وسلم: هم من أفضل المسلمين عندنا، فرد جبريل عليه السلام: وأيضا الذين حضروها وقاتلوا من الملائكة.

  • عظيم فضل أهل بدر، وعدتهم ثلاث مائة وثلاثة عشر رجلًا.
  • فضل الملائكة الذين شهدوا بدرا وأنهم قاتلوا بها.
  • بيان ما لغزوة بدر من الأهمية ونصرة الله نبيه صلى الله عليه وسلم والمؤمنين وكسر شوكة المشركين في هذه الغزوة.
  • أن الملائكة تقاتل مع المؤمنين وتثبت أقدامهم في قتالهم ضد أعداء الله -تعالى-.

Rifa'a b. Rafi' told that Gabriel came to the Prophet and said, "How do you consider among you those who were present at Badr?" He replied, "Among the most excellent of the Muslims," or words to that effect. He said, "It is like that with the angels who were at Badr." Bukhari transmitted it.

وَعَنْ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ قَالَ: جَاءَ جِبْرِيلُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «مَا تَعُدُّونَ أَهْلَ بَدْرٍ فِيكُمْ» . قَالَ: «مِنْ أَفْضَلِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ» أَوْ كَلِمَةً نَحْوَهَا…
