إِذَا وَجَدَ رِيحَهُمَا مِنَ الرَّجُلِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ أَمَرَ بِهِ فَأُخْرِجَ إِلَى الْبَقِيعِ فَمَنْ أَكَلَهُمَا فَلْيُمِتْهُمَا طَبْخًا ‏.‏

"O people, you eat of two plants which I do not think are anything but bad, this onion and garlic. I have seen the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ), if he noticed their smell coming from a man, ordering that he be taken out to Al-Baqi'. Whoever eats them, let him cook them to death."

أَمَرَ بِهِ فَأُخْرِجَ إِلَى الْبَقِيعِ فَمَنْ أَكَلَهُمَا فَلْيُمِتْهُمَا طَبْخًا

Narrated by Umar ibn al-Khattāb

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He who has eaten garlic should not come to our mosque." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. The narration in Muslim is: "He who has eaten garlic should not come to our mosques."

عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال‏:‏ ‏"‏من أكل من هذه الشجرة -يعني الثوم- فلا يقربن مسجدنا‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏ وفي رواية لمسلم‏:‏ ‏"‏مساجدنا‏"‏‏.‏
