أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏

"‏ لاَ تَجْمَعُوا بَيْنَ التَّمْرِ وَالزَّبِيبِ وَلاَ بَيْنَ الزَّهْوِ وَالرُّطَبِ ‏"

'Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah narrated from his father that:

The Prophet [SAW] said: "Do not combine dried dates with raisins, nor Az-Zahuw with ripe dates."

Al-Sindi — Hashiyat al-Sindi on Sunan al-Nasa'i

( لَا تَجْمَعُوا بَيْن التَّمْر وَالزَّبِيب وَلَا بَيْن الزَّهْو وَالرُّطَب ) قَالَ الْعُلَمَاء سَبَب الْكَرَاهَة فِيهِ أَنَّ الْإِسْكَارَ يُسْرِع إِلَيْهِ بِسَبَبِ الْخَلْط قَبْل أَنْ يَتَغَيَّرَ طَعْمه فَيَظُنّ الشَّارِب أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ مُسْكِرًا وَيَكُون مُسْكِرًا وَالْجُمْهُور عَلَى أَنَّهُ نَهْيُ تَنْزِيه وَالزَّهْو بِفَتْحِ الزَّاي وَضَمّهَا الْبُسْر الْمُلَوَّن الَّذِي بَدَا فِيهِ حُمْرَة أَوْ صُفْرَة وَطَابَ…

Ibn 'Abbas reported that Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) forbade the mixing of dates and grapes together, and mixing of unripe dates and ripe dates together (for preparing Nabidh), and he wrote to the people of Jurash (in Yemen) forbidding them to prepare the mixture of dates and grapes.

أَنْ يُخْلَطَ التَّمْرُ وَالزَّبِيبُ جَمِيعًا وَأَنْ يُخْلَطَ الْبُسْرُ وَالتَّمْرُ جَمِيعًا وَكَتَبَ إِلَى أَهْلِ جُرَشَ يَنْهَاهُمْ عَنْ خَلِيطِ التَّمْرِ وَالزَّبِيبِ ‏
