أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ، سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ، يُحَدِّثُ ‏{‏ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، ‏}‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ أَمْهَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم آلَ جَعْفَرٍ ثَلاَثَةً أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُمْ ثُمَّ أَتَاهُمْ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ لاَ تَبْكُوا عَلَى أَخِي بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ ثُمَّ قَالَ ‏"‏ ادْعُوا إِلَىَّ بَنِي أَخِي ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَجِيءَ بِنَا كَأَنَّا أَفْرُخٌ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ ادْعُوا لِي الْحَلاَّقَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

فَأَمَرَ بِحَلْقِ رُءُوسِنَا

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Ja'far said:

"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] stayed away from the family of Ja'far (when he died) for three days, then he came to them, and said: 'Do not weep for my brother after today.' Then he said: 'Call my brother's sons to me.' We were brought like little chicks, and he said: 'Call the barber for me.' Then he ordered that our heads be shaved."

قَوْله ( أَمْهِلْ ) أَيْ اُتْرُكْهُمْ يَكُون حِين جَاءَ خَبَر مَوْته ( أَفْرُخ ) بِفَتْحِ هَمْزَة وَضَمّ رَاء جَمْع فَرْخ وَهُوَ وَلَد الطَّائِر يُشْبِه بِهِ الصَّغِير وَحَلَقَ رُءُوسهمْ لِأَنَّ أُمّهمْ شُغِلَتْ بِالْمُصِيبَةِ عَنْ تَرْجِيل شُعُورهمْ وَغَسْل رُءُوسهمْ فَخَافَ عَلَيْهِمْ الْوَسَخ وَالْقَمْل.…
