أَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ح وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏

"‏ الطَّوَافُ بِالْبَيْتِ صَلاَةٌ فَأَقِلُّوا مِنَ الْكَلاَمِ ‏"

It was narrated from Tawus from a man who met the Prophet, that he said:

"Tawaf of the House is a form of Salah, so speak little." (Sahih Mawquf) This is the wording of Yu8saf, which was contradicted by Hanzalah bin Abi sufyan:

Al-Sindi — Hashiyat al-Sindi on Sunan al-Nasa'i

قَوْله ( صَلَاة ) أَيْ كَالصَّلَاةِ فِي كَثِير مِنْ الْأَحْكَام أَوْ مِثْلهَا فِي الثَّوَاب أَوْ فِي التَّعْلِيق بِالْبَيْتِ ( فَأَقِلُّوا ) أَيْ فَلَا تُكْثِرُوا فِيهِ الْكَلَام وَإِنْ كَانَ جَائِزًا لِأَنَّ مُمَاثَلَته بِالصَّلَاةِ يَقْتَضِي أَنْ لَا يَتَكَلَّم فِيهِ أَصْلًا كَمَا لَا يَتَكَلَّم فِيهَا فَحِين أَبَاحَ اللَّه تَعَالَى فِيهِ الْكَلَام رَحِمَهُ مِنْهُ تَعَالَى عَلَى الْعَبْد فَلَا أَقَلّ مِنْ أَنْ يُكْثِر فِيهِ ذَلِكَ وَاللَّهُ تَعَالَى أَعْلَم.…
