Narrator:Sahl ibn Sa‘d

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏

"‏ لِلصَّائِمِينَ بَابٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ يُقَالُ لَهُ الرَّيَّانُ لاَ يَدْخُلُ فِيهِ أَحَدٌ غَيْرُهُمْ فَإِذَا دَخَلَ آخِرُهُمْ أُغْلِقَ مَنْ دَخَلَ فِيهِ شَرِبَ وَمَنْ شَرِبَ لَمْ يَظْمَأْ أَبَدًا ‏"

It was narrated from Sahi bin Sad that the Prophet said:

"For those who fast there is a gate in Paradise called Ar-Rayyan, through which no one but they will enter. When the last of them has entered it, it will be closed. Whoever enters through it will drink, and whoever drinks will never thirst again."

Reported by An-Nasa’i (No. 2236) and Ahmad (No. 21775).

Al-Sindi — Hashiyat al-Sindi on Sunan al-Nasa'i

قَوْله ( لَا يَدْخُل فِيهِ أَحَدٌ غَيْرُهُمْ ) لَا يُنَافِيهِ مَا جَاءَ فِي بَعْض الْأَعْمَال أَنَّ صَاحِبه يُفْتَح لَهُ تَمَام أَبْوَاب الْجَنَّة إِذْ يَجُوز أَنْ لَا يَدْخُلَ مِنْ هَذَا الْبَاب إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ مِنْ الصَّائِمِينَ وَيَجُوز أَنْ لَا يَفْعَل أَحَدٌ ذَلِكَ الْعَمَل إِلَّا وَفَّقَهُ اللَّهُ لِإِكْثَارِ الصَّوْم بِحَيْثُ يَصِير مِنْ الصَّائِمِينَ ( شَرِبَ ) أَيْ عِنْد الْبَاب وَمُتَّصِلًا بِالدُّخُولِ وَلَعَلَّ مَنْ يَدْخُلُ مِنْ الْأَبْوَابِ الْأُخَرِ لَمْ يَشْرَبْ عِنْد الدُّخُول مُتَّصِلًا بِهِ وَاَللَّه تَعَالَى أَعْلَمُ.…

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "In Jannah there is a gate which is called Ar-Raiyan through which only those who observe Saum (fasting) will enter on the Day of Resurrection. None else will enter through it. It will be called out, "Where are those who observe fasting?" So they will stand up and proceed…

"‏إن في الجنة بابًا يقال له‏:‏ الريان، يدخل منه الصائمون يوم القيامة لا يدخل منه أحد غيرهم يقال‏:‏ أين الصائمون‏؟‏ فيقومون لا يدخل منه أحد غيرهم، فإذا دخلوا أغلق فلم يدخل منه أحد‏"

Authentic Sunan Ibn Majah 1640

“In Paradise there is a gate called Rayyan. On the Day of Resurrection the call will go out saying: ‘Where are those who used to fast?’ Whoever is among those who used to fast will enter it, and whoever enters it will never experience thirst again.”

"‏ إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ بَابًا يُقَالُ لَهُ الرَّيَّانُ يُدْعَى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُقَالُ: أَيْنَ الصَّائِمُونَ؟ فَمَنْ كَانَ مِنَ الصَّائِمِينَ دَخَلَهُ وَمَنْ دَخَلَهُ لَمْ يَظْمَأْ أَبَدًا ‏"
