أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏

"‏ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ قَوْمًا اتَّخَذُوا قُبُورَ أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ مَسَاجِدَ ‏"

It was narrated from Aishah that the Prophet said:

"May Allah curse people who take the graves of their prophets as Masjids."

Reported by An-Nasa’i (No. 2046), Al-Bukhari (No. 1330, 1390, 4441, 4443), Muslim (No. 529), Ahmad (No. 22931, 23372, 23748, 23976, 24953, 24982, 25146, 25149) and Ad-Darimi (No. 1367).
