أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ أَلاَ أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِصَلاَةِ، رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ

فَقَامَ فَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ ثُمَّ لَمْ يُعِدْ ‏.‏

It was narrated from 'Alqamah, that Abdullah said:

"Shall I not tell you about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)? He stood and raised his hands the first time and then he did not do that again."

Al-Sindi — Hashiyat al-Sindi on Sunan al-Nasa'i

قَوْله ( ثُمَّ لَمْ يُعِدْ ) قَدْ تَكَلَّمَ نَاسٌ فِي ثُبُوت هَذَا الْحَدِيث وَالْقَوِيّ أَنَّهُ ثَابِت مِنْ رِوَايَة عَبْد اللَّه بْن مَسْعُود نَعَمْ قَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ رِوَايَة الْبَرَاء لَكِنَّ التَّحْقِيق عَدَم ثُبُوته مِنْ رِوَايَة الْبَرَاء فَالْوَجْه أَنَّ الْحَدِيث ثَابِت لَكِنْ يَكْفِي فِي إِضَافَة الصَّلَاة إِلَى رَسُول اللَّه صَلَّى اللَّه تَعَالَى عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَوْنه صَلَّى هَذِهِ الصَّلَاة أَحْيَانًا وَإِنْ كَانَ الْمُتَبَادَر الِاعْتِيَاد وَالدَّوَام فَيَجِب الْحَمْل عَلَى كَوْنهَا كَانَتْ أَحْيَانًا تَوْفِيقًا بَيْن الْأَدِلَّة وَدَفْعًا لِلتَّعَارُضِ وَعَلَى هَذَا فَيَجُوز أَنَّهُ صَلَّى اللَّه تَعَالَى عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَرَكَ الرَّفْع عِنْد الرُّكُوع وَعِنْد الرَّفْع م…

‘Alqama said that Ibn Mas'ud suggested leading them in prayer in the way God’s Messenger had performed it. He prayed, raising his hands only once, along with the takbir at the beginning. Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Nasa’i transmitted it, and Abu Dawud said it is not sahih put this way.
