حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِصَبِيٍّ فَبَالَ عَلَى ثَوْبِهِ فَدَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمَاءٍ فَأَتْبَعَهُ إِيَّاهُ ‏.‏

Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa from his father that A'isha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "An infant boy was brought to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and it urinated on him. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, called for some water and rubbed over the urine with it."

( ش ) : قَوْلُهَا أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِصَبِيٍّ مَعْنَاهُ أَنَّ الصَّحَابَةَ رضي الله عنهم كَانُوا يَأْتُونَ بِصِبْيَانِهِمْ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِيَدْعُوَ لَهُمْ وَيُحَنِّكَهُمْ وَيُسَمِّيَهُمْ تَبَرُّكًا بِهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأُتِيَ بِصَبِيٍّ فَبَالَ عَلَى ثَوْبِهِ فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَأَتْبَعَهُ إِيَّاهُ يُرِيدُ أَتْبَعَ الْمَاءَ بَوْلَ الصَّبِيِّ وَهَذَا يَدُلُّ عَلَى نَجَاسَتِهِ عَلَى قَوْلِنَا أَنَّ أَفْعَالَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى الْوُجُوبِ وَلَوْ لَمْ يَكُنْ نَجِسًا لَمَا وَجَبَ إتْبَاعُهُ بِالْمَاءِ هَذَا مَذْهَبُ مَالِكٍ فِي بَوْلِ الصَّبِيِّ وَالْجَارِيَةِ سَوَاءً أَكَلَا الطَّعَامَ أَوْ لَمْ يَأْكُلَاهُ وَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ب…

The Prophet (ﷺ) took a child in his lap for Tahnik (i.e. he chewed a date in his mouth and put its juice in the mouth of the child). The child urinated on him, so he asked for water and poured it over the place of the urine.
