حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنْ شَيْءٍ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَأَحْسِبُهُ سَأَلَهُ عَنْ الْمُحْرِمِ يَقْتُلُ الذُّبَابَ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَهْلُ الْعِرَاقِ يَسْأَلُونَ عَنْ الذُّبَابِ وَقَدْ قَتَلُوا ابْنَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هُمَا رَيْحَانَتِي مِنْ الدُّنْيَا

Ibn Abu Nu‘m reported: I saw Ibn ‘Umar when a man asked him about the blood of mosquitoes. Ibn ‘Umar asked: "Where are you from?" The man said: "From the people of Iraq." So he said: "Look at this man, he is asking me about the blood of mosquitoes, while they [Iraqis] killed the Prophet's grandson…
