حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جُمَيْعُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ التَّيْمِيُّ قَالَ انْطَلَقْتُ مَعَ عَمَّتِي وَخَالَتِي إِلَى عَائِشَةَ فَسَأَلْتُهَا كَيْفَ كَانَتْ إِحْدَاكُنَّ تَصْنَعُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا عَرَكَتْ فَقَالَتْ كَانَ إِذَا كَانَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ إِحْدَانَا ائْتَزَرَتْ بِالْإِزَارِ الْوَاسِعِ ثُمَّ الْتَزَمَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ بِيَدَيْهَا وَنَحْرِهَا

The Prophet (ﷺ) used to embrace me during my menses. He also used to put his head out of the mosque while he was in I`tikaf, and I would wash it during my menses.

يُبَاشِرُنِي وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ‏.‏ وَكَانَ يُخْرِجُ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ وَهْوَ مُعْتَكِفٌ فَأَغْسِلُهُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ‏.‏

While I was laying with the Prophet (ﷺ) under a single woolen sheet, I got the menses. I slipped away and put on the clothes for menses. He said, "Have you got "Nifas" (menses)?" I replied, "Yes." He then called me and made me lie with him under the same sheet.

فَدَعَانِي فَاضْطَجَعْتُ مَعَهُ فِي الْخَمِيلَةِ‏.‏

Maimunah daughter of Al Harith said “When the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) intended to associate and lie with any of his wives who was menstruating, he ordered her to wrap up the lower garment(loin-cloth) and then he had association with her.

أَرَادَ أَنْ يُبَاشِرَ امْرَأَةً مِنْ نِسَائِهِ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ أَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَتَّزِرَ ثُمَّ يُبَاشِرُهَا ‏.‏
