He said (to them), "Whoever pays in advance the price of a thing to be delivered later should pay it for a specified measure at specified weight for a specified period."

Whoever pays in advance for anything, let him pay for a specified measure and a specified weight, to be delivered on a specified period of time

He who makes an advance payment should not make advance payment except for a specified measure and weight (and for a specified period).

When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to Medina, they were paying one, two and three years in advance for fruits, so he said: Those who pay in advance for anything, must do for a specified measure and weight with a specified time fixed.
