I asked Anas ibn Mālik: Did the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) use to pray with his shoes on? He said: Yes!

Maslamah Sa‘īd ibn Yazīd reported: I asked Anas ibn Mālik: "Did the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) use to pray with his shoes on?" He said: ‘Yes!'

أَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْهِ قَالَ نَعَمْ‏.‏

I said to Anas b. Malik: Did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) pray while putting on the shoes? He said: Yes.

أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي فِي النَّعْلَيْنِ قَالَ نَعَمْ ‏

Narrated by Anas ibn Mālik + 3 other versions

“My grandfather, Aws, used to perform prayer, and sometimes he would make a gesture while praying, and I would give him his sandals. He said: ‘I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performing prayer in his sandals.’”

ـ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْهِ ‏.‏

Narrated by Aws ibn Abu Aws ath-Thaqafī + 4 other versions

“We saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performing prayer wearing sandals and leather slippers.”

ـ يُصَلِّي فِي النَّعْلَيْنِ وَالْخُفَّيْنِ ‏.‏
