وَحَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبٍ الْحَارِثِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْحَارِثِ - حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الْكَبَائِرِ قَالَ ‏"‏

الشِّرْكُ بِاللَّهِ وَعُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَقَتْلُ النَّفْسِ وَقَوْلُ الزُّورِ ‏"

Anas narrated from the Apostle (ﷺ) about the major sins. He (the Holy Prophet) observed:

Associating anyone with Allah, disobedience to parents, killing a person and false utterance.

Reported by Muslim (No. 88a), At-Tirmidhi (No. 1207, 3018) and An-Nasa’i (No. 4010, 4867).

قَالَ مُسْلِم رَحِمَهُ اللَّه : ( وَحَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْن حَبِيب الْحَارِثِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِد وَهُوَ اِبْن الْحَارِث حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَة حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْد اللَّه بْن أَبِي بَكْر عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّه عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْكَبَائِر قَالَ الشِّرْك بِاَللَّهِ وَعُقُوق الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَقَتْل النَّفْس وَقَوْل الزُّور ) , وَأَمَّا الْإِسْنَاد الَّذِي ذَكَره فَهُمْ بَصْرِيُّونَ كُلّهمْ مِنْ أَوَّلهمْ إِلَى آخِرهمْ إِلَّا أَنَّ شُعْبَة وَاسِطِيٌّ بَصْرِيٌّ فَلَا يَقْدَح هَذَا فِي كَوْنهمْ بَصْرِيِّينَ وَهَذَا مِنْ الطُّرَف الْمُسْتَحْسَنَة. وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ فِي الْبَاب الَّذِي قَبْل هَذَا نَظِيرهمْ فِي الْكُوفِيِّينَ. وَقَوْله : ( حَدَّثَنَا خَالِد وَ…
