حَدَّثَنَا أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ بِسْطَامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ زُرَيْعٍ - حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏

مَنِ اغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ أَتَى الْجُمُعَةَ فَصَلَّى مَا قُدِّرَ لَهُ ثُمَّ أَنْصَتَ حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ مِنْ خُطْبَتِهِ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّيَ مَعَهُ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجُمُعَةِ الأُخْرَى وَفَضْلَ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ ‏"

Abu-Huraira reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying:

He who took a bath and then came for Jumu'a prayer and then prayed what was fixed for him, then kept silence till the Imam finished the sermon, and then prayed along with him, his sins between that time and the next Friday would be forgiven, and even of three days more.

Explanation in Arabic

أخبر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فضل بعض الأعمال المستحبة يوم الجمعة، فذكر أن من اغتسل للجمعة ثم جاء إلى الموضع الذي تقام فيه صلاة الجمعة، فصلى من النوافل ما استطاع أن يصلي، ثم سكت مستمعًا إلى الإمام وهو يخطب، ثم صلى معه، غفر الله له ذنوبه ما بينه وبين الجمعة الأخرى الماضية، لا المستقبلة، وتغفر له ذنوب ثلاثة أيام مع السبعة؛ لتكون الحسنة بعشر أمثالها.

  • بيان فضل الجمعة، وما فيها من سنن.
  • فضل الغسل للجمعة، وهو مستحب.
  • فضل الاستماع والإنصات للخطبة.
  • مشروعية الصلاة قبل الجمعة من غير عدد معين.
  • أن النهي عن الكلام إنما هو في حال الخطبة، لا بعد الفراغ منها.
  • بيان أن الحسنة بعشر أمثالها.
