Authentic hadith of Sahih Muslim Muttafaq ‘alayh (Bukhari and Muslim) Sahih Muslim 56c

حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، وَيَعْقُوبُ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ سَيَّارٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ بَايَعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم

عَلَى السَّمْعِ وَالطَّاعَةِ فَلَقَّنَنِي ‏"‏ فِيمَا اسْتَطَعْتَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَالنُّصْحِ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ ‏.‏

It is narrated on the authority of Jarir that he observed:

I owed allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) on hearing ( is commands) and obeying (them) and the Prophet) instructed me (to act) as lay in my power, and sincerity and goodwill for every Muslim.

وَأَمَّا قَوْله : ( حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْج وَيَعْقُوب قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْم عَنْ سَيَّار عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ ) , ثُمَّ قَالَ مُسْلِم فِي آخِره : ( قَالَ يَعْقُوب فِي رِوَايَته : حَدَّثَنَا سَيَّار ) فَفِيهِ تَنْبِيه عَلَى لَطِيفَةٍ وَهِيَ أَنَّ هُشَيْمًا مُدَلِّس وَقَدْ قَالَ ( عَنْ ) سَيَّار وَالْمُدَلِّس : إِذَا قَالَ : ( عَنْ ) , لَا يُحْتَجُّ بِهِ إِلَّا إِنْ ثَبَتَ سَمَاعه مِنْ جِهَة أُخْرَى. فَرَوَى مُسْلِم رَحِمَهُ اللَّه حَدِيثه هَذَا عَنْ شَيْخَيْنِ وَهُمَا سُرَيْجٌ وَيَعْقُوبُ. فَأَمَّا سُرَيْجٌ فَقَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْم عَنْ سَيَّار. وَأَمَّا يَعْقُوب فَقَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْم قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَيَّار. فَبَيَّنَ مُسْلِم رَحِمَهُ اللَّه اِخْتِلَافُ عِبَارَة الرَّ…
